Brutal Racial Attack Rocks Newcastle Bar - Police Appeal For Information

In a distressing incident, a man fell victim to racial abuse and physical assault at a bar in Newcastle. The altercation unfolded at Spy Bar, located on Osborne Road in the Jesmond area, around 5:30 pm on Friday, September 8 of the previous year.

According to reports received by the police, the altercation erupted following a disagreement between two individuals. Subsequently, one of the men allegedly slapped the other, resulting in reddening of the victim’s cheek and ear. Additionally, the assailant is said to have hurled racial insults at the victim, exacerbating the gravity of the situation.

In response to the incident, Northumbria Police initiated extensive investigations promptly after receiving the report. They have released an image of a man believed to have been present in the vicinity at the time of the assault. Authorities urge anyone who recognizes the individual or has information regarding the incident to come forward.
